About
A clearer operating picture for marine teams.
Ocean Intelligence makes marine information easier to use in real operational decisions.
How we started
Giving marine operators a clearer picture to work from.
Ocean Intelligence was created because the problem in marine operations is rarely a lack of data. It is the opposite: too many systems, feeds and forecasts that are hard to use together when timing matters.
We combine marine science, oceanographic modelling and production-grade data delivery so aquaculture, coastal operations and monitoring teams can work from one clearer operational picture.
From Nelson, New Zealand, we stay close to the environments where thresholds, changing conditions and practical decisions have real consequences.
Partnership
Ocean Intelligence is built on the combination of Cawthron and Oceanum: strong marine science, strong modelling and systems that can be trusted in the field.
How We Work
A small set of operating principles shapes the product.
Scientific Rigour
Data quality is treated as a baseline, not a nice-to-have.
Practical Utility
We design for decisions and workflows, not just display.
Environmental Stewardship
We help teams operate with stronger environmental awareness.
